Watering
Regularly water your containers.
In warm weather they will need daily watering.
Keep soil moist but not soggy as this will clog up the roots.
Never allow pots to dry out.It is best to water at either the start or end of the day to prevent either scorching of wet leaves or water loss through evaporation
Feeding
For maximum flowering feed every few weeks
Deadheading
Deadhead your plants regularly to encourage new flowering
Pinch off dead blooms between your thumb and forefinger
This also keeps displays tidy and looking their best
Herbs
Most herbs are Mediterranean in origin and enjoy a sunny position
A sunny spot will improve the flavour of your herbs
Pick regularly to keep plants tidy and to encourage new healthy growth
